After trying so hard to find new models all summer, I've pretty much run
out of options. So, I simply had to get back to my roots and stick to
what works - ME. As you might know, I'm a big fan of
taking pictures of myself. And, since I couldn't even find someone to be
an extra, I just used myself over and over again. (That's right - it's
me talking to me!) I had fun with them, let me know what you think!
(Please).

Lady of the Lake
Since it's nearing the end of summer, I thought it would be nice to post these ultimate summer pictures I took today. Nothing special - not an actual photo shoot or anything, just my friend and old roommate, Liz. So summery, so refreshing!
Such a #beachbabe.
I took a ton of pictures of strangers too, but I decided it's inappropriate to post them, right? Does anyone know the rules?
Happy Last Days of Summer, everyone!

Chicken Run
Remember how I teased you guys with the last post? Well, congratulations on waiting it out - it's finally here! This summer my friend, Netanya, adopted a pet chicken named Ami. Of course, Netanya took Ami home the day before she had to go away on a trip sooo ... I got to take care of Ami! We had a lot of fun. Ami had curled toes (it's a common problem. Who knew?) which I made little shoes for. It was great. Anyway, Netanya absolutely adores Ami, so we had to do a photo shoot showing off how in love they are. It turned out very sweet (I think).

| This is my favorite, even though you can barely see Ami |

And also remember to check out my show at the Barnes & Noble in Kingston, New York!

Sorry, This Post is going to be a Little Bit CORNY
My beautiful best friend, Netanya, posed for a few shoots and I love the photos. Let's start with a few from the weekend:
Isn't she great? This summer she also got a pet chicken (who is great, by the way). We did a portrait session and it's really sweet. (This is my teaser for the next post (see what I did there?)).

Wedding Bells are Ringing!
Some of you might remember Juda Leah from previous posts (HERE and HERE); well this past weekend she got MARRIED! I know, it seems so mature. The wedding was beautiful and I took pictures, of course. Everyone loves looking at wedding photos, right?

Marwencol: An Update
Since my post (which you can read HERE) about my friend Mark Hogancamp is my most popular post to date, it seemed like I should give you guys an update about what's new in Marwencol. Big things are happening! It was recently announced that filmmaker, Robert Zemeckis, has plans to make Mark's life into a feature film! And, of course, Mark will hopefully be played by Leonardo DiCaprio. Of course. Here's the full article from cinemablend.com:
Author: Eric Eisenberg | published: October 24, 2013 5:09pm PDT
Back on April 8, 2010 a man named Mark Hogancamp was assaulted by a group of five men outside of a local bar. The beating he recieved was so severe that he wound up being in a coma for nine days and suffered permanent brain damage and almost complete memory loss. Unable to afford the proper therapy and rehabilitation, he began to explore the world through his own imagination and the result was Marwencol, 1/6-scale World War II-era Belgian town that Hogancamp built in his backyard and populated with characters from his own life - including his friends, relatives, and even the teens who attacked him. In 2010 filmmaker Jeff Malmberg believed the story to be fascinating enough to warrant its own documentary, and now, according to The Hollywood Reporter, director Robert Zemeckis is going to turn it into a full fledged feature.
In addition to following the fascinating way in which Hogancamp worked to repair his mind, the documentary also followed the story as the photographs of Marwencol are discovered and published, leading the "artist" to become a figure in the New York art scene.
Caroline Thompson, who previous credits include Edward Scissorhands, The Addams Family, and The Nightmare Before Christmas is handling the screenplay while Universal is backing the project. The feature will reportedly "blend fantasy and reality," much like how Hogancamp's mind works.
After years of exploring the possibilities of motion capture technology, making movies like The Polar Express, Beowulf and A Christmas Carol, this will be Zemeckis' second feature after returning to the world of live action filmmaking. Last year he began this comeback with Flight, which received a largely positive critical response and Oscar nominations for both Best Actor (Denzel Washington) and Best Original Screenplay (John Gatins).
Whether or not the movie will end up being Zemeckis' next project remains a bit of a mystery. Late last year it was reported that the director was interested in re-teaming with Forrest Gump/Cast Away/Polar Express star Tom Hanks on the sci-fi story Major Matt Mason, but he the filmmaker is also attached to helm both the young adult novel adaptation Chaos Walking and a possible Who Framed Roger Rabbit sequel. Personally, I really hope Marwencol is next as it not only sounds like the most original premise in the group, but also because I would love to see what Zemeckis could do with the material.

| Isn't this a downer as a picture for New Year's? |
Not keeping up with this here blog makes me feel mighty guilty - it's been weighing on me big time, so I'm going to kick-it-up and really put an effort into bringing you great readers new content. I'm also going to try my hardest to become a super successful supermodel, business icon - someone that people will be jealous of and look up to for inspiration - is that too much responsibility for one resolution? I don't know how these things work! Ok, one more. I'll also try not to post cliched paragraphs on this website; for example, a post about resolutions before New Year's. I mean we've all read these things before, right?
Anyway, HAPPY 2014!!! I hope all of your resolutions come true and feel free to post any tips on resolutions or New Year's or even your New Year's outfits. I'm just very curious. Great, thanks.

My Vision
Valerie Shaff, who I interned for this summer, did a photo-shoot of me! I styled it and told her my vision for the shoot. I've never had my picture taken by a real-live photographer before. The dressing gown was provided by Lisa Durphee at Five and Diamond Vintage in Hudson, NY.
Don't you love it? They're all pictures of me!

Die Giraffen
Went to Animal Land this weekend. The #1 attraction in the Adirondacks (according to their brochure). It was a little sad, but mostly awesome. You get to feed and pet ALL of the animals. I held hands with a lemur!!!! That had to be the coolest thing I've done in awhile.

Run Lola Run
We based this photoshoot on the German film, Run Lola Run. You can get pumped up with this song from the movie. This one is about running.
Mostly, our photoshoot had nothing to do with Run Lola Run.
It's starts getting maybe a little bit morbid.
