Movie Star

After trying so hard to find new models all summer, I've pretty much run out of options. So, I simply had to get back to my roots and stick to what works - ME. As you might know, I'm a big fan of taking pictures of myself. And, since I couldn't even find someone to be an extra, I just used myself over and over again. (That's right - it's me talking to me!) I had fun with them, let me know what you think! (Please).

Since it's nearing the end of summer, I thought it would be nice to post these ultimate summer pictures I took today. Nothing special - not an actual photo shoot or anything, just my friend and old roommate, Liz. So summery, so refreshing!

Chicken Run

Remember how I teased you guys with the last post? Well, congratulations on waiting it out - it's finally here! This summer my friend, Netanya, adopted a pet chicken named Ami. Of course, Netanya took Ami home the day before she had to go away on a trip sooo ... I got to take care of Ami! We had a lot of fun. Ami had curled toes (it's a common problem. Who knew?) which I made little shoes for. It was great. Anyway, Netanya absolutely adores Ami, so we had to do a photo shoot showing off how in love they are. It turned out very sweet (I think).

The Time I Went to the German Festival

Today I went to a German Festival. There were dachshund races and lots of great streetstyle. Here are my photos from the day. I'm hoping to make my big break by submitting these to German Life magazine. I'm going to be a journalistic star, you guys. Help me!

New Model

Wedding Bells are Ringing!

Some of you might remember Juda Leah from previous posts (HERE and HERE); well this past weekend she got MARRIED! I know, it seems so mature. The wedding was beautiful and I took pictures, of course. Everyone loves looking at wedding photos, right?

 

Polaroid Stories

Two posts in one day to make up for the, you know, four months where I completely slacked off. So, here are some photos from a shoot I did for a play at my school - Polaroid Stories. Getting to work with actors was really fun and I would love to do something like this again. At the end of the play, the photograph were dropped from above onto the audience. So cool.

 

Welcome Back Everyone

I know, I know. I've been gone so long. (I feel so guilty). It's been a tough semester in school because it was my last. I'm graduated! The Boys are Back in Town

For photo class I did a project where I made mug shots of my friends in the outfit they felt most comfortable in or describes them the best. I have actually never taken pictures of boys before which is weird, but I found it interesting. Here are a few of my favorites.

Voyeur Allure

My Vision

Valerie Shaff, who I interned for this summer, did a photo-shoot of me! I styled it and told her my vision for the shoot. I've never had my picture taken by a real-live photographer before. The dressing gown was provided by Lisa Durphee at Five and Diamond Vintage in Hudson, NY.

Die Giraffen

Went to Animal Land this weekend. The #1 attraction in the Adirondacks (according to their brochure). It was a little sad, but mostly awesome. You get to feed and pet ALL of the animals. I held hands with a lemur!!!! That had to be the coolest thing I've done in awhile.
